As part of the MORE4Sustainability project, an Expert Board, consisting of academic experts of each project partner, is working on a Sustainable Asset Management Framework.
The Experts are building the Framework around 4 steps:
- The sustainability improvement in a plant starts with modifying the asset portfolio by reengineering the production process and/or installing sustainable and electrified assets
- The energy efficiency of the installed assets can be improved by optimizing the asset health
- The energy efficiency can further be improved by specific energy management applications, which will have a direct impact on the GHG emission (CO2)
- The GHG emission can be further improved by specific emission management applications. The three arrows in the model represent the 4 in MORE4Sustainability
